Vision, Mission, Values and Goals
Vision
  To be the PREMIER Special Education Cooperative.
 
Mission
  To lead, manage, train and assist employees of RCCSEC and its member districts in the delivery of effective prevention and intervention services based on innovative and research-based practices
 
Values

Goals for 2008-2009
  1. To improve the defensibility of our IEP's by providing at least 4 trainings to district personnel on IEP's and our policies and procedures
  2. To provide training for all special edcuation staff on Response to Intervention and :
A. Document the research based interventions being utilized in all 11 districts
B. Assist 4 districts with identifying a Tiered Intervention approach to service delivery
  3 To increase the monitoring of IEP's in our member districts by having administrative staff, Psychologists and Social Workers better trained and preview 85% of all IEP's
  4. To decrease the percent of students in Special Education by .5% agency wide
  5. To revise RCCSEC's Policy and Procedure manual and Update the RCCSEC Special Education Policy and Procedure Manual
  6 To Obtain E-rate funding for 2008-2009
  7. To write 3 grants to obtain additional funding for RCCSEC or its member districts
